Maury Plumlee

Founder / CEO

Saddle Mountain Group is led by Maury Plumlee, founder and principal partner. Maury started his career in sales with Portland-based Viewpoint in 1980, and his sales management responsibilities grew as the company expanded into a global leader in construction ERP solutions. During this time-period, Viewpoint grew from less than 20 employees to over 800 today.

Maury’s skills and expertise were honed by the competitive world of front-line ERP sales; this gave him the foundation to help build and lead the Viewpoint Sales Organization through substantial growth and success. In 2015, after a 30+ year career in all aspects of sales, Maury moved to VP of Global Marketing, where he led branding, messaging & lead generation activities across Viewpoint’s global organization. Viewpoint was acquired by Trimble Corporation in 2018.
